UC Berkeley has established a risk management governance structure to manage the overall risk profile for the campus. This governance structure is designed to provide an “enterprise” view of risks across the entire campus, enabling senior management to prioritize risks, establish risk response strategies, and monitor impact from the strategies.

We are pleased to announce that UC Berkeley has entered into a Resolution Agreement with the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR). For the last four years, OCR has been reviewing the campus’s handling of sexual violence and sexual harassment cases. This agreement brings the investigation to a close.
